What is CareerOps?
CareerOps is a browser extension that helps you save, organize, and track job listings, networking contacts, and application notes — all from your browser.
What sites does it work with?
CareerOps currently supports Greenhouse, Lever, LinkedIn, Ashby, and many others. More platforms are being added regularly.
Does it store my personal data?
No. Your data is stored locally and optionally synced to your preferred tool (like Notion, Airtable, or CSV export). We do not store or sell your data.
Can I track networking contacts too?
Yes. You can capture contact names, referral details, and follow-up notes — making it easier to manage warm intros and recruiter outreach.
Can I export to Notion?
Absolutely. You can export to Notion, Airtable, or CSV. Native Notion integration is available with a few clicks.
Will this help me get a job faster?
CareerOps doesn’t guarantee job offers — but it gives you structure, visibility, and momentum. You’ll spend less time tracking and more time landing interviews.
Is CareerOps free?
You can get started for free. Power users can upgrade for features like unlimited saves, custom exports, and multi-board tracking.
Is this just for tech jobs?
Not at all. CareerOps works for any role where you apply online and want to stay organized — including marketing, operations, and freelance gigs.
Who built CareerOps?
CareerOps was built by Chris McDermut, a former engineering leader who got tired of manually tracking jobs in spreadsheets. You can connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/chrismcdermut/. It’s designed by job seekers, for job seekers.
